Brodner's Person of the Day: Alan "Tin Man" Greenspan

September 18, 2007

Alan "Tin Man" Greenspan.

Although he sat in on meetings prior to the war Alan Greenspan never raised an objection. Now at book-selling time, he's full of reflection and wisdom. It was all about oil, he says, and everybody knows it. 4000 deaths later. Hey, he doesn't disappoint. Welcome to the reality revolution.

P.S: Here's a free cartoon idea I don't have time for: Bush and Co in red jackets: "War-Mart": lowest oil prices everyday.

You mean to tell me it was not a purely selfless act? Of course it was selfish. To let a looney like Sadam take over the middle east would be stupid. Can you imagine what this world would have been like if Hitler had access to unlimited resources and people ("useful idiots") tried to negociate with him?

"Take over the middle east"... explain yourself, Raul.

Can you name a more overrated mediocrity than Alan Greenspan in the history of American media? Woody Allen, perhaps? Jon Stewart? Robert Rubin?

"4000 deaths later" ? What about the lives of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians ? How so American to forget about them...

Frank: My nominee is Adam Sandler. Bob: My bad. I reflexively speak the language of the CW. Consider this changed to 600,000. They are all our responsibility.

Where the hell was Greenspan years ago? Now that he has a book he speaks up!

Maybe when he says it's about oil it's something he's proud of.

It would be our following geopolitically to the place where intellectually and morally we already are.
