The inhumane activity that Israel has done in the Gaza territory is horriffying. Many have come to believe that it is Hamas and other such groups that are at fault for the current conditions, but that is not necessarily true. Israeli government officials have repeated again and agian that they don't want to kill innocent civilians yet they still proceed to attack the Palestinian people with chemical and explosive bombs on a daily basis. Many say that such "terrorist groups" as Hamas and Hezballah should be imprisoned, well you cannot call a person who fights to defend his country a "terrorist". This term "terrorist" has become a way to justify inhumane activity towards helpless people. Palestinians are being imprisoned and tortured in their own lands and labled as "terrorists". I hope that from the current events that have occured that the world will come to realize the wrongs of the Israeli country. For years the media has held back information concerning the living conditions of the Palestinian people, but now a small quantity of the wrongs of the Israeli country is being released to the public. The media always mentions how a couple of Israeli soldiers die one day, but they never mention the 100's of Palestinians that are massacared on a daily basis. This war has gone on to long, the nations of the earth have to come together and finally end this crisis. Palestine was a peaceful and prosperous country before the Zionist ideal came to take the land from it's rightful owners(Palestinians). The Palestinian people around the time of World War II, opened their arms widely to the Jewish refugees only to be back-stabbed by the Zionist ideal. What gives Israel the right to build a wall around Palestinian lands and intrap them in "The World's Largest Prison"? What gives Israel the right to take young boys, of ages 12 and over, and imprison them with no just reason? What gives Israel the power to do as it pleases and not be condemned for it? What gives Israel the right to kill mothers, fathers, daughters, and sons?
The idea to wipe the Palestinian people out is embeded in almost every mind in Israel. There is only a few Israelis that believe that what their country is doing is wrong, and the rest of the country lives by the Zionist ideal.
Now someone please answer this question for me; If your country was small and weak and did not have any sort of army to defend it or the resources to keep it going, and another stronger country begins to kill your countrymen for no just reason, now would you not try in any way possible to defend and protect your country? Would you not try to defend your family and friends? Would you not try to defend what you hold dear to you? The answer is, for most people, that you would do anything to defend your country.
This is a war over land, and Israel keeps increasing their land and decreasing the Palestinian lands in hopes of forcing the Palestinian people out of their country. The Palestinian population in that condensed area of land is greater than that of the Israeli population, as well the Palestinian Population is growing at a faster rate then the Israeli population. So given these facts, one can only conclude that Israel only targets women and young children only in hopes of decreasing the growth of the Palestinian people.

Why Israel and the United States are such steadfast friends is because of their identical histories. They both started off as sattlements and then kept growing big. The difference is that one is Christian and the other Jewish. Both Israeli and American freedom fighters were labeled as terrorists by the British. Israel is looking for expansion even beyond Palestine. They treat Arabs as the Americans treated Red Indians and Blacks. Israel struggle is of course much more difficult than American's due to things such as human rights groups, the United Nation (that Israelis absolutely hate), public opinion (in the West), media etc etc. But they have done well so far and figures crossed. Israelis future (or at least Israelis perhaps believe) is to become another United States.

HT, you are right on. I am an American living in Tel Aviv and I love both Israel and America because despite the two countries many flaws, there are ideals of freedom and prosperity. Israel wants a Palestinian neighbor who is a friend, a neighbor with whom it can trade and a neighbor it can trust. Hamas openly states that they will never accept a Jewish state. The Jews in Israel wish for a better situation for the Palestinians, but not at the expense of their own existence.

Israelis are great at making sure th e status quo is consistant as proof of with their 60 year occupation of 4 million people. Thye need that look of WAR with Reffuggees so the Politicians can cry to their American Constituents to send the needless weapons and Billions in aid religious radical israelis who use it to kill for God's word, something we are totally against. I totally agree with you. My English is not so good so I can only use simple vocabulary but it really pains me to hear things people say about Palestinians. The injustice they do to people who have endured a great deal of suffering. It is against all that I believe in. Everyone who has a sense of decency in them will recognize that. The Palestinians have a few things that are really not working for them : living in a time where people are extremely negative towards Arabs and Muslims, being non-white, having Israel as the aggressor. As long as people are so scared of the victims they rather identify with the aggressor you know you have got yourself a problem there. The ironic thing is that if they would identify with the Palestinians more they probably would not be so scared of them since they would realize that it was a basic human right that made them angry in the first place. For all the people who cannot comprehend the injustice. Change up the names of the parties involved and see how unfair it is as you will not see it otherwise.

For the person who said the Palestinians need to move to Saudi Arabia. WHY SHOULD THEY? Because you believe they don't belong there? And what are the Palestinian Christians supposed to do? Live in a Islamic state like Saudi Arabia just because you like Israel? We live in a world that is based on justice and laws. If you want to go back to primitive times..fine. But let the rest of us live in a society based on equality. The fact that some of you think like that about a part of the world you know nothing about shocks me. If you live in a totalitarian regime I understand you may have some prejudices about others but if you have all the knowledge at hand and be willfully ignorant is just beyond me.
