The email sent out last month by Laurie Zoloth, director of Jewish Studies at San Francisco State University, was chilling on its face.

"A student movement should ... not ape the formulas of its elders or outdo them in virulence." This really hits the nail on the head. In my experience, people will do anything, including hard physical work, to avoid thinking with their own brains. The more hip or progressive - the more dedicated to parroting others' thoughts and attitudes.

This is a good article, but it's like preaching to Nazis. It's too late to fight antisemitism among progressives. I am now a conservative. Guess who made me one?
