It is not that non gamers think that gaming is bad but when you spend more time on your games than time with your kids and spouse it becomes a bit much I have to say. I am now looking at the effects of online gaming on marriages. I am sorry folks but I want my family to spend time together. My spouse gets up in the morning and goes straight to that pc no good morning ,hello nothing! As for adult time if you catch me, I get nada! I also have played games on line but mine always have a time limit one hour. And have never taken priority ove my spouse either. I proved to my spouse that I couldn't keep up with the game and do the things that need to do be done around the house and care for the children. It just is no tpossible for gamers to spend that much time on their games and not have their love lives, jobs, personal lives, and personal hygiene effected. It is really sad for both people in the marriage when it get this way. I don't think that tey even realize that they are hurting their spouse by continuing this [deleted]! Anyway gamers take this under consideration that your spouses with get the attention they need and crave one way or the other. And you will end up alone and sorry that gaming ruined your life.

"You also should have included that someone died because he simply would not stand up from World of Warcraft and that someone jumped off a building with a feather because you can get a feather in some MMO and that makes you fly. Needless to say that that did not work."

There have been others, but people fail to realize these people were not smart and/or had problems prior to playing MMORPGs

Entropia is a heavily regulated and controlled economy. The Ayn Rand label may not be apropos! Honestly, I think it looks more like Europe.

Its a bit funny that I had already heard about alot of these. You also should have included that someone died because he simply would not stand up from World of Warcraft and that someone jumped off a building with a feather because you can get a feather in some MMO and that makes you fly. Needless to say that that did not work.

I can't say I've ever been so attached to a game that I would ever consider spending real money on pixels.

Being a MMORPG player myself, this is a bit unsettling, but also reassuring, as I now know I am not alone.

Thanks for this
