 <description>&lt;p&gt;...so now its 2008 and...we realise, of course we already knew it, that &quot;free trade&quot; destroyed what little benefits the revolution could have brought forward and now..that the damage has already been done..now what?...who&#039;s going to look after the people&#039;s interests?..who&#039;s going to stop multi-nationals?&lt;/p&gt;

 <description>&lt;p&gt;..conditions in Nicaragua, and in all of Latin America are worse now than they ever were it seems, especially given gap size between the &quot;haves&quot; and &quot;have nots&quot;..illiteracy, hunger, abject poverty..etc..but Latin America doesn&#039;t seem to object and now appears as Honduras did in the 80s when Land Reform Laws were passed which could never be physically implemented anyway but did serve to pacify the hungry...the people now have land but simply can&#039;t compete with &quot;free&quot; trade...nothing is happening on the land but extraction of resources for export...what&#039;s next???&lt;/p&gt;
