Leigh, did you really write this article? It seems crazy! The Clinton's prescibed tons of murders? I've never heard you mention this. Call me. What is this article really about?

Your website sucks. Looking at the pictures of the arctic village, there is no "nex" or "back" button so one has to go back to the tile page and click each picture. In the Clinton hit list article above there is NO LIST. What a poorly laid out excuse of a website. Too bad, such a great magazine too. Let me guess, you have a young 'intern' doing the coding?

This nonsense about the Clinton's is very old news. Its quite a reach backwards. Although satire doesn't have to be current. Fresh is always better. Why not draw from the nonsense that Hillary said something wrong about MLK and LBJ. I do believe that's been fact checked to the hilt. It used to be you'd get taken to task for saying negative things, is it the new way to get bashed for saying truthful good things? The real Mother Jones wouldn't put up with such nonsense.

Scott's response is the only one, I repeat the only one, that speaks to the truth of what needs to be done. Check every other response written here. Every one of those responses is written by someone who is "asleep." The most difficult thing in life is not to admit to being asleep, it is to recognize first that your colleagues are asleep -- then and only then will it dawn on you that you suffer from the same dis-ease -- and the U.S. machine functions at its best because there is only one Scott amongst so so many sleepers. Conspiracy notions are simply the intuition's way of knocking on the door of consciousness.

People who write about ideas such as this and the readers who believe their bologna truly need to get their heads checked and support the argument that people will believe almost anything especially when their political view points are added into the picture. To all of the people who believe this article you really do need to get a life.

I was disappointed to see MoJo issue an article with this title-- one that led the e-mail subject line too-- making it seem like this extremist view is their stance. The second disingenuous thing was to then decry it. Why is this conspiracy theory relevant, and if one can argue it is, why not a focused inquiry into it, instead of this sensationalized dreck?

OK, I get that this is satire (although not very good satire) and I don't believe the Clinton conspiracy theories. But I find this little squib GROTESQUE for another reason--the fact that it asks (in an apparent effort to be funny): "Could this be why Barack Obama requested protection from the Secret Service months before candidates usually do?" Does no one at Mother Jones remember seeing Martin Luther King lying in his own blood on a motel balcony in Memphis? Did you think that was amusing? And then, a rew months later, remember Bobby Kennedy dying on the floor of a hotel in Los Angeles? That was a real laugh riot, wasn't it? It's obvious why Obama needs extra security, and it's nothing to joke about. Just wait until some racist or some nut takes a shot at him, and you'll see how long this pathetic attempt at humor stays up on this web site after that.

Leave it to the new Mother Jones to act as the "left *gatekeeper" (*something put there to monitor the actions of others - in this case us, informed and caring citizens who demand integrity of our government) and quell the revival of the Clinton knock-off list. tee-hee - haha - another tinfoil hat conspiracy theory! Well, do your research folks. The Clintons are well-connected and an integral part of the plan to usher in fascism through the Democratic party (as in Germany, so history repeats). They are closely connected to the Bush mafia, as well. The Clintons play the other side of the Repubs vs. Demos false charade. But Mother Jones as it is configured right now, receiving a lot of its money from billionaire foundations and some of its journalists from the CIA, is not likely to affirm that the Clintons have used these mafia techniques to hide their crimes. No, and thinking Americans like myself will continue to be marginalized by use of this garbage, starting from the misleading "liberal vs. conservative" show-fight which prevents 99% of the truth from reaching the American public. If you at Mother Jones were conscientious and courageous journalists then why not research this "hit list" and report back on your investigation with specifics? Like sean Hannity, you can't answer to "conspiracy theories" that are too hot for the powers that be to handle, so you use the same childish technique to evade and avoid your investigative duty. The first act of a true investigator is to chase down the trail of a key clue - of an alarming illogic. All those people who knew firsthand about the Clintons' criminal enterprises just died "accidentally"? Just like the witnesses to the Kennedy assassination all dead and gone within 3 years? This list begs investigation, not FOX News-style ridicule and their usual positioning of anyone who comes up feeling suspicious of the facts before them, as "wacko". Shame on you once again "Mother Jones" news - you don't deserve to use her name!
