I truly do hope that we run out of oil, oil its self is bad for land.... that way we will have to get off our lazy bums and do something else..... I have an idea that can be more efficient but for now i have no way of making it..... think of this a Steam,Solar, and Hydrogen engine..... they have a steam engine out there called the cyclone that produces 200 hp, solar to power a electric engine battery, and a small hydrogen engine.... It'll have enough power to drive anywhere anyone wants to go with a great wide range of travel..... But once again i haven't been able to put it together. And bio diesel is just a short term fix as soon as everyone switches over to it the demand will go up and be extremely expensive...

I think this article is being negative, it obviously is. Anyways I think Pres. Bush is an asshole, but he did a great job to invest in this important technology that will help us in the future to be more environmental friendly. The only problem now is of course producing the Hydrogen. If this is not done the proper way, then it makes no sense to build hydrogen cars... Currently scientist are already busy trying to find a better, easier, cheaper and more environmentally-friendly way to produce hydrogen. Way back then, I thought that hydrogen cars would take at least another quarter century before they can have a major impact on the market. But I was wrong, this time hydrogen cars are starting to hit the market.

It is a little knowm secret that huge amounts of hydrogen can be made by superheating water to above 700C. At this point water breaks down to molecular level. This can be done quite easily by building a nuclear power station specifically fore this purpose and just like in a conventional electric nuclear station the core would indirectly exchaneg its heat with the water so no contamination occurrs. Hey Patrick, I'm with you in your thinking. Stanley Myers developed the tecknowlegy but because of this whole world being indeded with oil products and byproducts I think it would take years for the weaning process. But I'mm with you,, let's all do it NOW..
