Obama said he will not go after guns. His voting record says otherwise. As a joyce foundation board member, he funded many anti gun and criminal rights groups. All of his appointees have a 100% anti 2nd amendment history. If he stated he will not go after guns, his appointees will. Look at pending legislation, even after the Supreme Court ruling on the 2nd Amendment. Still pushing for an extreme registration scheme, ammo taxes and restrictions, etc.

With the economy in it's current state, and state and local governments refusing to curtail uncontrolled increased spending, voters are finally telling government to cut back by voting against new bonds and propositions. Government is afraid of the government employee unions, and have decided to make cuts elsewhere. They are retaliating by threatening public safety-increasing 911 response times and releasing about 35% of it's inmates. With zero traffic, the closest police station is 20 minutes away. If a criminal was to break into my home, he would laugh if he saw all that I had was a cell phone, dialing 911. Time to go shopping for a gun and ammo.

This is comical. I see no indication where the admin will make significant changes to any rules, but the gun nuts are going crazy. could it be that the manufacturers and interest groups are creating fear to drive up their profits???
