It is interesting that this judge is making such a humanitary decision which puts him on the side of of the people who wish not to err causing untold harm to innocent victims. This will further encourage Pesident elect Obama to end the Guantanamo Bay torture centre and also all practices of torture in the U.S. and its judicial and military forces. The Nuremburg Trials chaired by U.S. Judge Jackson has written into world law that the planning and doing of aggressive war is the supreme crime on earth as it sets to motion all other crimes high, low, big and small. One wonders how Bushco and their breaking of the international law on foreign policy by going to aggressive war would like to be treated the same as their phoney practices have done to the innocents that this wise judge released after years of detention, torture and abuse. Hopefully this decision will encourage the people, judicary and the new elected government to move swiftly to close the terrible chapter of lawlessness that Bush has unleashed on the world. Hopefully a constituent assembly could be called to require the supreme court to be elected by the people so that government of the people, by the people, will not perish from this earth.
