Actually, The GOP Crushed The Wheel

The #1 Fact about the state of the American economy today is that the Bush GOP Autocracy turned it into the worst case scenario Ponzi scheme since the Great Depression, greed and corruption were their cultural values so the destruction of the Wealth of America by the GOP was the only possible result once the GOP exported millions of American jobs to their Communist Chinese owners.
So today the economy is actually worse than a square wheel, the wheel was crushed by the Great Republican Hatemonger Machine that has not only turned the GOP to CRAP (Communist Republican Anti-American Party), but makes them the second greatest threat to America since WWII, the CRAP is second only to the al Qaeda today.
