Wow
OK that looks like fun.
I don't know why liberals
I don't know why liberals resort to crude sexual terminology to describe protesters. The tea party protest was a great day in our history. It's sad you all would have probably played the tories on that day.
I thought dissent was the highest form of patriotism?
umm...
If that's the case, why did nobody agree with that two years ago? When Bush was in office, if one even mentioned that they were against the war they were "UnAmerican, Unpatriotic, Terrorists... etc".
There was Protest by Rep Ron
There was Protest by Rep Ron Paul but you didnt want to listen .
End the Fed and you put an end to the ability of Washington D.C. to Spend money
we dont have. Be it a personal war (Iraq, W) bailout of "To Big To Fail Banks" (W,Obama,Congress,Senate,Etal), Health Unreform (DC Lobbyists for Insurance Companies,Big Pharma, and Lawyers against Tort Reform.)
Without the Credit Card (The Federal Reserve) the Politicians (Red and Blue) are disarmed and are forced to make decisions based on the reality that we are a debtor Nation beholden to "To Big To Fail Banks" and Foriegn Countries.who have no interest in doing what is right. Do not fool yourselves both sides of the aisle in Washington are owned and they are not acting in the best interest of the common man.
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency,
first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks]
will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.
The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."
Thomas Jefferson
That's what they called themselves
They called themselves "teabaggers" and called their protests "teabagging"
You know what is really sad...
It is sad for the rest of us that you found this website and want to pollute the discussion with your mindless rants. In other words, this is for smart people, go find a freeper site to lurk on where you can have all your opinions validated. You only come here to get a quick thrill by throwing out some outrageous comments to get people stirred up and run and hide.
It is also sad that people like you will happily play lapdog or boot-licker as long as one of your fascists is in charge. GWB did more to erode the rights that the founding fathers fought for than any other president in history. God only knows what it will take to retrieve those rights.
Your tory accusation is absolutely ridiculous and sounds like more of the right-wing projection (look it up, it is a psychology term). You would happily accept corporate rule and an out of control military budget. If you right-wingers fear the government so much why do you so happily support giving them the most advanced weapons ever dreamed of? Don't you know the toy guns you cling to so desperately won't mean a thing when a hellfire missle from a predator drone takes out your house and the official report to the media says you had a propane leak?
The original tea party was also a shot across the bow of the corporations that ruled in the day. It was as much about the monopoly of the British East India Tea Company as about the taxes. Yet you are also happy to let the corporations rule and have supported deregulation. Despite this warning from one of the founders of the nation:
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."
Thomas Jefferson, Letter to the Secretary of the Treasury Albert Gallatin (1802)
3rd president of US (1743 - 1826)
No, educated dissent is the
No, educated dissent is the highest form of patriotism
At least those are political
At least those are political terms.
Tea party, teabag, whatever
The original Tea Party concept has nothing to do with anything mentioned here, including the cartoon. It had everything to do with throwing the British Crown OUT of the United States, and putting paid to royalism on our soil. And, that's what the Tea Party is about, keeping the US sovereign and independent, in a day and age when various foreign entities with deep pockets appear to be lined up to start giving Americans marching orders, essentially. What price independence? Giving up ignorance, and we'll gladly pay it.

Epic Fail
Usually these are pretty funny. This one sncks monkey nuts.
I know this. It's really
I know this. It's really funny. Bonds are lower risk than stock, but lower return, and stock portfolios should be carefully and closely monitored and managed. The closer you get to retirement, the more you should shift your accounts towards stable investments, and experts recommend at least 30% of any 401(k) funds allocation should go straight into savings, to establish a real credit with cold, hard, cash.
Self destructive
The right wing middle class has an overwhelming urge to destroy itself and transfer all its money to the top .01%. Not sure why they constantly vote against their best interests while Rush and Beck and Hannity and Cheney and Rove laugh all the way to the bank.
"I'll never understand why
"I'll never understand why poor people vote republican"
Bill Maher
It's interesting that a
It's interesting that a cartoon, that attempts to make fun of someone not being able articulate a thought, has absolutely no ability to actually debate the issue. Instead, the only response they have is to try to mischaracterize and belittle those who have an opposing view.
You Liberals Suck
The term "teabaggers" was invented by the liberal media to mock the Conservative Tea Party movement. I was in Washington and I saw how successful they were. Thousands of honest, hard working Americans with home made signs (not printed, handed out signs by Acorn), people who truly care and want their country back. Obama and the ultra left wing of the Democratic party are trying to ruin this country at lightning speed before the people know what hit them. I feel sorry for all of the followers who think that there is something called a free lunch. As Obama takes us down the road of Government controlled Healthcare your liberties will be stolen from you and you will wake up someday wondering what happened. Go ahead and laugh. Forgive them for they know not what they do.
"Forgive them for they know
"Forgive them for they know not what they do."
So now you're comparing those who support a public OPTION in healthcare reform to those who put Jesus to death?
Martyr complex much?
Just pathetic
Typical Liberal, Insult anyone who has a different opinion because YOU have to be right!
You can understand that why Americans QUESTION their president because that is a right which is in the Constitution, democracy in action. The pro health care group loves to cite 47 million uninsured, when the real figures are more like 17 million when you weed out the people who can afford health care but decline, non citizens and those who are in between coverage. Yes, we need to reform health care coverage, not throw the baby out with the bath water when we have the best in the world health care, our affordability and coverage needs reform, do not dump the best care when 96% of all people are covered and 87% like their health care. Aside from the fact that NO ONE in this country is actually declined health care. Let us have a good, calm debate over what we need to do to improve our health care coverage, let us not try to silence the opposing view, if you want that then move to China or Russia.
No one is stopping you from hating anyone. What is being stopped is your desire to declare open season on people who's views or lifestyle don't match what your ignorant ass thinks is acceptable. we actually look forward to a peaceful country that doesn't breed hate and violence. I pity your children, should you ever find a willing receptacle for your undoubtedly vile seed
If calling us "tea baggers" is the best they have got, then not only are they witless and spiteful, they are not very bright.
Comparing the Obama
Comparing the Obama administration's spending spree to Bush spending on the war with "where was your protest then?" comments just demonstrates your ignorance of our Constitution.
Whether or not you agree with the reasons we may be at war, it is absolutely the responsibility of the federal government to fund it.
Bailing out Banks (paying full out to creditors like Goldman Sachs no less), bailing out automakers, mandating health insurance - these are not the role of the federal government.
Congress (i.e. legislation) has been in Democratic control since 2006. You people need to learn how to quit blaming Bush for everything wrong - buck up and face the fact that the out of control spending is being done by the current administration. It makes no sense to say, "well Bush spent us into this problem so we get to spend us into a worse one."
Seriously. Simple logic, people.

I Agree, but for Different Reasons
Yes, it is true, Democrats should not be bailing out banks and using Bush's spending as an excuse. Just because Bush wanted war doesn't mean Obama should continue it, which is exactly why there are STILL anti-war protests, Code Pink is STILL going to Creach Air Force Base to protest the drone attacks. And if you think Obama is ultra-left, it is because the mainstream media never lets you see the real left. Come over to Pacifica Radio sometime, and discover the left you've been missing. http://www.pacifica.org
I Agree --Liberals are today's Tories
Yes, the crude sexual language of the Left continues to discredit everything they say. So let them continue to be snide and undermine their own comments.
The longer you listen the more apparent it becomes that the liberals are still searching for a king to take care of them and tell them exactly what to do, just like their Tory ancestors. Only now, instead of "the King" they are invoking Obama and the federal government.
Our pity for the would-be slaves should not delay our response.
the vast majority of
the vast majority of americans do not vote for or wish to support in any way the people who run for our public offices. the rest who do vote let themselves be split down the middle on matters that will never win over the other half.
if i wish to support gun rights i have to vote for people who slam abortion? if i want my views respected on the enviroment i must support tax and spenders?
if i want better schools i must support teachers unions? we chase our own tails while they all sit and laugh at us. if we had more than this horrible two party system things might change for the better.
it would be impossible to make an america in todays world, thank god we were born with what we have at least.
Hi, I just wonder if there
Hi,
I just wonder if there are tea baggers, who have no health coverage, and yet protest against healthcare reform? The tea baggers and sympathizers are up to something else other than genuine concern for the country. They represent the of worst what the society can offer.

NPRs cartoon would be just another mindless display of liberal hate if it came from the Daily Kos
However NPR is a tax payer funded organization that takes millions of our dollars. I personally don't want to be fiancing this mindless hate that comes from this cartoon. You won't find a shred of intellectual critiquing in this just yelling and stereotypes.
The having what they call a "teabagger" yelling Nazi (Also known as the National Socialist Party) is very absurd to say the least coming from the left. Do they not remember the endless absurd comparisons between George Bush and Adolf Hitler? Liberals did it so endlessly it was almost hard to be outraged by it cause it was so frequent. Liberals were also the ones to compare "teabaggers" to Nazis. Who could forget Nancy Pelosis outragous "carrying swastikas" statement. Liberals simply have lost all right to be outraged about being compared to Nazis.
Also the to the claim about John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Michele Bachmann recieving funds from insurance companies I give a big so what. Are you well aware of liberal politians getting funds from George Soros, radical comunists, radical environmentalists, Hollywood deviants and all manner of shaddy fundraisers that could fill up pages. Compain contributions are an important part of the political process.
This cartoon is nothing but a stupid hateful rant from stupid hateful people.

What about 9/11? Are we done
What about 9/11? Are we done with that yet? Everyone should have realized by now it was an inside job by people up top for their own gains. Not terrorists with box cutters. That started this whole mess. Look at the spot price of precious metals since then. Thanks for the printing press Federal Reserve! If every issue is going to be a Left vs. Right shouting match I'm off to a more civilized country. America, at least you're still in the top 10 (#1 actually) for one global statistic: Obesity
(:
Relax, everyone. LAWL (lol) it up!
