Breaking: Tony Snow Resigning

| Fri Aug. 17, 2007 3:55 PM PDT

After less than a year and a half as the White House spokesman, Tony Snow plans on leaving the gig. So says CNN. Props to them for throwing in this bit:

Snow told conservative talk-show host Hugh Hewitt on Thursday that "financial reasons" may prevent him for serving the remainder of his boss's presidency.
"I'm not going to be able to go the distance, but that's primarily for financial reasons." Snow said. "I've told people when my money runs out, then I've got to go."
According to The Washington Post, Snow makes $168,000 as the White House spokesman.

Maybe this is all an elaborate ruse to get a raise...

I didn't know that we paid people that much to feed us "lies". Maybe the American people aren't so smart after all.

Did this shill think we bought what he was selling? He's nothing but a song and dance man with smoke and mirrors. Another war monger with no credentials. Good riddance.

"Captain! Captain! Berg! Berg off the port bow," the first mate shouted.
"Damn these icebergs. Hard left rudder. Sound the klaxon. Hold your posts.," the captain commanded.
" Abandon ship! To the life-boats men," Rumfeld yelled as Wolfowitz, Harriet Miers, Dan Bartlett, and Tony Snow scrambled over each other into the lifeboat.
Bush and Cheney stood on the prow as the ship listed severely to port and began to dip its stern.
The last empty lifesaver floated quietly in the wake as the survivors skulked to safety in the dark abyss.
Under the weight of six years of lies and deception, the Titanic continued to slowly sink.

Tony Snow is dying of colon cancer and will soon be gone. He already carries a bag. You got to give him credit for going as far as he has. What do you gools have to say about this?

Tony Snow CHOSE to be a journalist. As a well educated person he CHOSE to represent fox news and the bush administration. He is most probably dying.I hope he is not worrying about the 'Almighty Dollar" but how his children will hold their heads up and be proud to say,My Dad, was the press secretary for the bush administration! He helped sell the public, torture, NSA spying on his fellow Americans, mass financial corruption by Halliburton for missing funds in Iraq.He was the great defender of the bush administration. when all is said and done and the folks who are tied to this administration are no longer 'Players',history will judge what was done to our people, country and constitution with an eye devoid of their influence. Tony's children will always know he helped perpetrate the lies.Tony will not be here to to suffer the consequences of his choices, his children and grandchildren will.

I will say nothing about Tony's physical condition. I would not wish such a fate on anyone (as my wife recently died a horrible and long-suffering death from colorectal cancer.)

But I will say this - for whatever reason Tony accepted the challenge to stand before an entire nation - day in and day out - and abet a den of criminals through his retelling of the lies that stream from "OUR HOUSE", Tony made his deal with the devil when he acquiesced after being ordered by CNN poobahs to take the job. Result - CNN gets a fast-track inside seat to the corruption (that's why CNN was placed front-and-center in the new White House media room) and Tony gets so much pressure and stress he develops cancer and will die soon. "Fair exchange", in the minds of the media monsters.

With Tony soon to be gone, we'll see who the next media whore becomes and which anchor they sacrifice. Anybody want to make a bet that it's FOX [following a HUGE amount of money paid by Murdoch to finally get back in the inner circle???)

What are you talking about Patriot? If Snow worked for Fox, why would CNN "poobahs" order him to take the job? And why would telling the truth about what goes on in the White House cause pressure? Oh, wait...

Tony, Tony, Tony . . . . next . . .
