George W. Bush: Most Disapproved of President in History
It's official: George W. Bush is the most unpopular president since pollsters have been able to track presidential popularity.
According to a CNN/Opinion Research poll, 71 percent of Americans disapprove of Bush's presidency. Harry Truman hit 66 percent in January 1952. But no president had cracked the 70-percent mark--until now.
The good news for Bush: he has a 28 percent approval rating. Truman fell as low as 22 percent, and Richard Nixon bottomed out at 24 percent. So though he's the most disapproved of president in history, Bush has a ways to go before he's the least approved of president in history. But that's not out of reach. There are nine months left in his presidency.

Approval vs. Disapproval ratings: the ultimate glass half full vs. empty paradox.
I knew this was to be but no one called me before the election and asked my advice.
now look at the shape we are in. beyond repair. the die is cast. the self destruction of capitalism. finally.
soon it will take two dollars to buy one euro and many americans are still looking for a socialist under their beds. conditioned like sheep from corp america.
my wife voted for this man twice now she refuses to even discuss her vote.
the good news she voted for obama in the primary. there is hope for humankind.
Not to be a naysayer, but I doubt Chimpy's approval can fall much more. There is a base of incredibly ignorant people (a/k/a "Low Information Voters") who will support Chimpy no matter what. Also, religious fanatics an war mongers will continue to support him. I suspect the aggregate of this group of dead enders is about 25% of the population.
Dennis Kucinich should be mentioned as someone who stood up to speak truth to power. Kucinich is the valiant Congressman who tried harder than any other person in Congress to bring George W. Bush down with impeachment.
Thomas Tamm should be mentioned as someone who stood up to speak truth to power. Tamm is a star for ratting out Bush and exposing Bush's illegal NSA spying program.
Al-Zaidi, who threw shoes at Bush, should be mentioned as someone who stood up to speak truth to power. Al-Zaidi's bravery will be forever cherished.
Dr. Justin A. Frank, a renowned psychiatrist, should be mentioned as someone who stood up to speak truth to power. Dr. Frank gives the American people the best psychiatric evaluation of Bush that can possibly be attained intelligently and honestly. Dr. Frank tells the American people about Bush's mental illnesseswithout which Americans could not fully understand why Bush does the crazy things he does.
Lawrence Velvel, Dean of The Massachusetts School of Law, should be mentioned as someone who stood up to speak truth to power. Velvel has fervently advocated prosecution against Bush for war crimes. Velvel also diligently tells the American people a whole lot about Bush's mental illnesses.
There are people of Britain who should be mentioned as people who stood up to speak truth to power: they ratted out Bush (Downing Street memo), exposing that Bush was going to attack Iraq no matter what and fabricate whatever information to get it done.
I am profoundly thankful for the people whom I mentioned above.
The American people salute the characters I mentioned above for their courage and integrity in challenging the existence of the worst president in U.S. historyGeorge W. Bush.
