McCain's Surrogates Get Confused

| Sun May. 11, 2008 10:55 AM PDT

Think Progress has a great catch. Mitt Romney on CNN earlier today:

BLITZER: Does John McCain want to continue what Obama called the failed policies of the Bush administration?
ROMNEY: Well I think you're going to hear that time and again, Wolf, throughout the campaign season. And I just don't think it's going to stick.

McCain surrogate Rep. Roy Blunt (R-MO) in the same program:

BLITZER: So it would be in effect a third Bush term when it came to pro-growth tax policies?
BLUNT: It would be. I think it would be. And I think that's a good thing.

Good work out there, fellas. Here's video. Blunt is pretty adamant about that same-as-Bush thing.

Wow. Thank you for the truth, Roy Blunt, as confirmation that McCain will continue the Bush policies. It is as plain and the nose on McCain's face, that a McCain presidency will mean a third term of Bush; the United States' people and infrastructure just can not withstand another Bush presidency.

Go, Obama -- get us away from McCain and another Bush presidency.

Of course, Dr. Ron Paul made many economic suggestions before *and* after the primaries. These were designed to liberate Americans from faulty economic policies which have been largely ignored by both the media and the surfs it deceives. Mr. Obama does not have the skill, foresight, or relations to make any respectable changes at all.

Dead:

Obama has the skill and foresight, and once he is president he will have all the relations he needs to be the President of the United States, and he will not be able to perform magic, but in time he will pull our country out of the mess that the RIGHT WING Clinton's and Bush's got our country into. The United States and the world doesn't in any way need another RIGHT WING EXTREME administration in America.

Although Ron Paul means well, he is a REPUBLICAN. No matter how good intentioned he is he could not reject the EXTREME that is the REAL base of the REPUBLICAN PARTY.
