Does Sarah Palin Not Read the Newspaper?

Over the last couple days, every newspaper and network in America has disproven Sarah Palin's claim that she opposed the Bridge to Nowhere. Yet just moments ago at a campaign rally in Lebanon, Ohio, she repeated her familiar refrain on the bridge, claiming she told the federal government, "Thanks, but no thanks."
There appears to be no accountability here; the McCain campaign will trot out Palin to repeat her talking points no matter how many times the press reports that Palin campaigned for governor as a supporter of the bridge and only opposed it when it became obvious the federal government was going to cancel its funding.
Today she went on to say, "If our state wanted a bridge we would build it ourselves." Palin seemed to be suggesting that she had no interest in federal support for infrastructure projects. That, too, is not true. As Kevin has noted, small towns in Alaska never sought federal earmarks until Palin pioneered the tactic, even using an Abramoff-connected lobbyist to get them.
And as governor, Palin continued the trend. Today, states receive roughly $50 per person in earmark funds from the federal government. Alaska gets a stunning $506 per person. For fiscal year 2009, Palin has submitted 31 earmark requests totaling $197 million. According to the Seattle Times, that is "more, per person, than any other state." And, for what it's worth, there are a "road to nowhere" and a second bridge to nowhere that Palin is decidedly less upset about.
Let's be real. The fact that Sarah Palin is not an anti-pork crusader has been reported. Repeatedly. Sarah Palin just seems to be the last to hear the news.

As for reading newspapers, don't you think if she did, she'd know something, ANYTHING, about the world around her without having Joe Lieberman coach her on it?

You don't suppose it is because they fool around all day with nothing to do, just waiting for their local well fare office to open up while they study the dictionary like Obama did at Harvard. That way they can spew Rev. Wright venom and blog something profound ? We used to call these people democrats.

Is John McCain running fro President or co-President? I saw a headline this morniing: McCain, Palin Want Frannie, Freddie Restructured. Thiis is making him look very weak. He stands behind her at their campaign appearances like her old assistant. My guess is as quickly as she appeaared,she'll fade. She's not very interesting and really has nothing to offer...except more negative information surfacing every day.
John McCain is like a mouse in a glue trap. One of these days, he'll have to try to pull himself out, and that won't be pretty. She'll end up a liability before long. He's getting churlish and defensive issuing statemants about her lying, her book banning controversy,etc. He's stuck with a monster of his own making...or Karl Rove's.

With the RIGHT'S blessing supposedly from God, Sarah Palin will often repeat her lies trying to fool the common population, an old propaganda tactic.Apparently the RIGHT has determined the LEFT is too stupid to know what is in their own best interest and will buy her lies no matter what, if her lies are repeated often enough in all the RIGHT WING'S MEDIA, where she is made to appear qualified for the presidency, even though she is not. Therefore, all we get to hear on all channels is free press for Palin, without equal free press for Obama. How could anyone actually think the press isn't RIGHT WING? On all channels of regular television, pandering to the REPUBLICANS is the business of the RIGHT WING media. It's sickening all the free press the RIGHT just takes in this last two months, because they own all the media.
It is interesting that people try to disparage Obama (whom the post is not about) on these posts yet don't have any concrete arguments to the contrary.
The fact she she has and continues to garner earmarks is a fact. That she continues to lie about "the bridge to nowhere" is also a fact. This isn't about Obama or even anything presidential. She is an opportunist who is going to work this opportunity for everything it is worth.
So please...any of those who disparage the truth...why bother.
In spite of the that the Press and Main-Stream-Media are in Bed with this McCain-Palin ticket,it should have become evident to the general public by now,that this election campaign is more than just about these two and their blatant,open blunt Lies.

Every person in his/her right mind must indeed feel justlike Obama said the other day :
"they must think you`re stupid" ,therefor rejecting this notion and send a clear,

It must here also be noted that especially women should voice their disgust and anger at John McCain,with all his cheap,downgrading,derogative remarks toward them, for which he is best known for.

I woke up to the TV one morning last week when her nomination was announced and thought somebody had driven over my cat then realized it was the whiney, nasal bleating of some lady that I might have to listen to for four years...Jebus H. Christ, get out the ear muffs!!!
Jonny, you have a picture of a pig. Women are already sensitive about their weight and now you have the picture of the pig. Well, at least it is a white(pink) pig and not a Black(African) or Brown pig. In the South, the people are really overweight and pig out every Sunday afternoon at the all you can eat buffet's or the BBQ.

How can Sarah's detractors in good conscience accuse her of "firing" the very man who went behind her back to solicit earmarks in her name without her permission, and then knowing they did that, face backwards and say SHE asked for too many earmarks.
The left wants to Damn her if she does and Damn her if she doesn't, so you have already made your minds, but that doesn't turn what your minds made up into fact.
The fact is the democrat men screwed Hilary and any woman who cannot see their hypocrisy for what it is might consider investing in a pair of Sarah Palin eyeglasses.

Sarah Palin has announced that not only she will not seek re-election as Alaska's governor but that she is resigning. Sarah Palin is really making a lot of news even before the january election up until now, most of it not really noteworthy. However, now there's some Sarah Palin news that's at least worth a little attention. There hasn't been a reason given specifically as to why she has resigned the post as Alaska Governor, but it's rumored that she's doing it to concentrate on being the frontrunner for the 2012 Republican Candidate, and she's probably also looking into some instant payday loans for campaign funding. Sarah Palin is loved by some, detested and ridiculed by others, and secured loans for a 2012 Presidential run might not be ill spent.
