Equality Opportunity Opprobrium

We point out when Republicans abuse their power in ways that ought to get them kicked out of office, so we have a responsibility to do the same for Democrats. Time to go, Charlie Rangel.

it is normal in every nation, that means we can exercise our own freedom. if a politician is abusing the power, we do have to take an action

I have to agree. We've been critical of Republicans for protecting their own regardless. So far I think liberal media (real, not corporate) are doing pretty well at reporting what Democrats get up to, but our elected officials aren't doing much better than the Republicans. Yes, they removed William Jefferson from all committee assignments, which Republicans wouldn't do with their own scandal-plagued members, but they haven't asked him to resign. They seem hesitant with Rangel too. Rangel's transgressions are pretty minor, but they're also one after another.

As I write that, I feel unfair because that's just he US House. Spitzer was booted quickly, as was the state attorney general of Ohio. However, if I'm typical, then Congress is what people think of in terms of how parties handle scandals.
