Von Brunn's Anti-Semitic Conspiracies: from 9/11 to Google

James von Brunn, the white supremacist arrested for the murder of a security guard at the Holocaust Museum, held numerous extremist views, as has been widely reported.
He maintained that 9/11 was the product of a Jewish conspiracy. In one posting, he claimed that only one Jewish person was killed at the World Trade Center--even though the "WTC was the nexus for international Jew trade, located in the largest Jew city in the world." He added, "It is revealing that 3 Jews laughing with glee, pointing at the exploding WTC, were caught by a neighbor on video-tape."
Like many anti-Semitics, von Brunn believed Jews controlled the world financial system, and he used the traditional data points and rhetoric of such hate-mongers: "From this cess-pool of Jews and traitors came the FTAA which in 1994, with Congressional blessings, changed its name to WTO (World Trade Organization)."
But von Brunn also tracked updates on the global financial Jewish conspiracy. In 2003, von Brunn posted on Stormfront.org, a site of "white pride," information about Google that he had found at the website of Holocaust denier David Irving. The basic charge: Google was founded, funded and controlled by Jews. And you know what that means.

I think you should contact Sandra Lubarsky PhD, a Jewish Theologian, and Loren R. Fisher PhD, a retired professor of Hebrew Bible, who are members of Religious Leaders for 9/11 Truth and signed this statement regarding the events of 9/11 and the need for a new investigation:
"When faced with actions that conflict with the universal moral principle that we should not do to others what we would not want done to ourselves or our loved ones, members of faith communities have a responsibility to voice their opposition to those actions. As a result of this extensive research carried out by scientists and professionals, it can now be seen that the official account of 9/11 is false beyond any reasonable doubt. ... Because the false account of 9/11 has led to [numerous] evils, it is incumbent on religious leaders, once they realize that the official account is a lie, to speak out."

Abstract
We have discovered distinctive red/gray chips in all the samples we
have studied of the dust produced by the destruction of the World
Trade Center. Examination of four of these samples, collected from
separate sites, is reported in this paper. These red/gray chips show
marked similarities in all four samples. One sample was collected by a
Manhattan resident about ten minutes after the collapse of the second
WTC Tower, two the next day, and a fourth about a week later. The
properties of these chips were analyzed using optical microscopy,
scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray energy dispersive
spectroscopy (XEDS), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The
red material contains grains approximately 100 nm across which are
largely iron oxide, while aluminum is contained in tiny plate-like
structures. Separation of components using methyl ethyl ketone
demonstrated that elemental aluminum is present. The iron oxide and
aluminum are intimately mixed in the red material. When ignited in a
DSC device the chips exhibit large but narrow exotherms occurring at
approximately 430 °C, far below the normal ignition temperature for
conventional thermite. Numerous iron-rich spheres are clearly observed
in the residue following the ignition of these peculiar red/gray
chips. The red portion of these chips is found to be an unreacted
thermitic material and highly energetic.

Dear Mr. Corn,
When you throw a dinner party, you can't always control who comes, let alone who might try to crash it. How utterly boring if we did! Further, we do ourselves and others a profound disservice when we decide to abandon a party simply because an idiot has arrived.
The motivation to investigate 9/11 for example, for myself and the people I associate with is to end the resultant misguided wars and aggression that persist to this day with no end in sight. Peace is the goal.
It's like putting on sharper and sharper prescription glasses. It's not that one's initial understanding is false, it is just lacking in detail. What at first looks like 19 suicide hijackers, becomes 19 alleged suicide hijackers with extensive ties to western intelligence. What at first looks like 2 planes knocking down 2 towers becomes 2 planes flying into 2 towers causing 3 "collapses" in ways that fire and gravity alone simply are incapable of.
My point is that the myopic version of stories, whether they be of 9/11 or this story of the deranged gunman that you seem to be espousing only further entrenches a well established view of fear and aggression as appropriate responses.
I'd like to invite you and your readers to look deeper, put on sharper specs, and bring these events into a higher focus that will transmute habitual aggression, consumption and denial into compassion and understanding.
I am confident that if you do so with an open mind and heart, you'll discover that not only the current wars, but all wars are predominantly scams foisted on the whole of humanity, designed by and benefiting a very few in order to keep the rest of us isolated, vengeful and fearful, and that war and aggression amongst ourselves is not the appropriate response.
In order to avoid an Orwellian future where the theory and practice of oligarchical collectivism perpetuates a state of increasing oppression, we the whole of humanity, have to see clearly, the tiny segment of us that regards itself as separate and above, that benefits from war, so that we may perceive their actions and respond to them appropriately.

This senile old man is as connected to the 911 truth movement about as much as Bernie Madoff is to the Torah.
Bernie Madoff is Jewish, does that mean that he represents all Jews? Does Madoff personify the millions of Jews who observe the laws and precepts of ethical behaviour?
Of course not! Nor does Von Braun represent our movement to discover and reveal the truth about the attacks on our country and fellow citizens which occurred on Sept 11.
Von Braunn was 88 years old and probably completely senile. It is true he shouldn't have even been given access to a car, never mind a gun. You could say the same for the vast majority of 88 year olds in this country.
The fact that he held one or two opinions in common with some 911 truthers ( who by the way, are in no way are associated with holocaust revisionism) is an obviously absurd leap into vicious and scurrilous character defaming of this ever growing and non-violent mass movement.

Mr. Corn, did you know that 684 architects and engineers, all with architectural or engineering degrees, have banded together to form Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth. Their intent is to publicize their belief that a rigorous, scientific and engineering based analysis shows conclusively that the 3 WTC towers which collapsed on 9/11 could not possibly have collapsed in the manner observed as a result of 2 jet plane impacts alone, without the use of additional explosives or demolition charges placed in the buildings.
Notice if you go to their web site at http://ae911truth.org there is an abundance of articles, slide show presentations, interviews and videos explaining why these architects and engineers have come to the conclusions they have regarding the destruction of the 3 WTC buildings on 9/11 and also explaining how they are reaching out with campaigns to alert fellow architects and engineers and the wider public about their concerns (with some notable success I might add), yet there is not one scintilla of evidence that they are in any way anti-semitic or hateful towards any religion or ethnicity.
Is it your position that the very act of questioning the US government/mainstream media's explanation of what happened on 9/11 make a person an anti-semite? I think you should clarify that for your readers, because it seems to be what you are implying, intentionally or not.

In 1977, Rolling Stone alleged that one of the most important journalists under the control of Operation Mockingbird was Joseph Alsop, whose articles appeared in over 300 different newspapers. I long ago canceled my subscription to The Nation when I learned more about who Corn was. I then canceled a susbscription to Mother JOnes when they hired Corn. Its obvious what his role is-controlled left or "acceptable" left. Im not going to call him a CIA asset or anything of the sort but I cant blame others for doing so. Corn is either what many believe he is-an asset, or hes a coward and moron of massive proportions. This smear article tries to use "guilt by association" by associating the 9/11 truth movement with a psycho killer who made the news.
Hitler was a painter, does that mean that all painters are fascist Nazis (obviously, no).

It's instructive that members of the 9/11 Denial Movement have shown up in this comments section to demonstrate their complete confusion and inability to understand the written word.
David Corn has simply noted an undeniable fact: the Holocaust Denier and anti-Semite, James von Brunn, ALSO believed 9/11 was caused by the "Jews."
Does that mean the so-called 9/11 "Truth" Movement is guilty by association of Antisemitism and Holocaust Denial ? Of course NOT - unless you THINK in the strange, illogical, and irrational manner 9/11 "Truthers" think.
By its very own proclamations, 9/11 Deniers, like the commenters above, have ALWAYS believed that anyone NOT accepting their own claims is GUILTY of siding with the "Official Story", siding with the "treasonous" U.S. Government and therefore as noted 9/11 Denier, Jon Gold, states, ""You are scum. This piece is a (very) obvious attempt to link 9/11 truth with anti-semitism. The title of the article is "Von Brunn's Anti-Semitic Conspiracies: from 9/11 to Google."
Also, the first sentence ends with "...[Von Brunn] held numerous extremist views, as has been widely reported." The piece then goes on to link anti-semitism with 9/11 truth.
True, Mr. Corn did just state a fact (that Von Brunn was a follower of the 9/11 truth movement) but why that fact, among all others? Among thousands of associations Von Brunn had, he chose to write about 9/11 truth, and the obvious implication is that only crazy people question the official story, or that the ideas of the 9/11 truth movement somehow led to his criminal actions.
This kind of assertion is an "a priori" argument, as if questioning the government's narrative is true, a priori. In light of many hundreds of parameters in which the government's narrative has been proven false, an a priori argument is invalid. Voluminous evidence exists that absolutely proves the official story false. A person's knowledge, or lack of knowledge, of that evidence is wholly irrelevant to it's inherent truth.

You are trying to make a link of what David Corn wrote where none exists. James von Brunn clearly believed the "Jews" were responsible for 9/11. Nowhere does Corn state or imply that 9/11 "Truthers" are ant-Semites or Holocaust Deniers.

In the article above, Mr. Corn is implying that the 9-11 truth movement is anti Semitic by conflating the sentiments of a lone racist with the whole movement. Previously the Simon Wiesenthal Center maliciously associated Architects and Engineers for 9-11 Truth with terrorists ( http://www.ae911truth.org/info/22 ). These are attempts to drive a wedge between the truth movement and Jews. There is no issue between the truth movement and Judaism, there never was, despite Mr. Corn's effort to imply such.
