O.J. Simpson and KSM

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) is worried that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed will be acquitted—just like O.J. Simpson was. A lot of people thought Simpson was guilty, Grassley told Attorney General Eric Holder a a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Monday morning—but Simpson was acquitted anyway.

My favorite answer to this

My favorite answer to this was Jon Stewart on Monday's Daily Show. Basically he said, "Please let him out in NY."

Juries of you Peers

I believe in a jury of our peers. It's unfortunate O.J. couldn't have that for his civil trial. Why is that? I imagine 12 rednecks sitting in judgment on a hippie. I'm sure that has happened enough. Or consider the opposite, hippies sitting in judgment on rednecks.
Facts and figures are so entirely weird these days, I won't believe that Bobby Richardson won the World Series MVP in 1960 in a losing cause or that Steve Spurrier won the Heisman Trophy. Does know one care what the truth is?
Another question, we searched all over the world for Osama Bin Laden and now you say this man was the architect of 9/11. I thought it was Osama? Was he just the money and the inspiration?
What the hell, I guess O.J. Simpson, one of my favorite liberal people and a fellow I always thought was a genuine nice guy and Osama Bin Laden the world wide terrorist are of equal villainy in the minds of white Americans.

OJ and KSM

The events of Sept 11th are etched in the minds of all Americans. We want justice - and that entails giving KSM his day in court. Let him and the others defend themselves in a court of law and if they are convicted, execute them.

where's...?

Where is the rest of the article about OJ and
KSM? I would love to see how the spin
doctors paint this poor bastard into a corner
when, as everyone SHOULD know, he is
nothing more than the LHO of the
new millenium

terrorist trials

My only worry is WHERE will our judicial system find jurors that "do not know of or have not experienced the tragic events of 9-11. And if they find such people WHAT WILL THEIR MENTAL CAPACITY BE. I don't know if I would trust people that sheltered with such a important undertaking.
