Film Review: New Muslim Cool

I wonder if the film points out that when someone converts to Islam are they told that they cannot ever leave? Islam, that group that makes such a point out of how tolerant and peaceful they are, forbids any Muslim from ever renouncing it or converting to another religion. In 6 Muslim countries it gets the death penalty (including Afghanistan, that bastion of democracy and freedom we are risking western lives and billions of dollars to prop up) and the others imprison those who want no more of this religion of "peace and tolerance". Even Turkey, which wants to get into the EU, convicts people to several years of their famous prisons for leaving Islam (not to mention the discrimination against non-Muslims in military, police or government employment, just as in most Islamic countries). There is no real religious freedom in any Islamic country but in some African countries, where the Mullahs don't have so much power, people are leaving Islam by the thousands every day. I don't know what they can do to people who want to get out of it in the US, but in the UK many of the thousands who have renounced Islam have had to go into hiding because of death threats and violence against them and their families.

I find it sad that so many young people are being mislead into this medieval, intolerant religion because political correctness is keeping the truth about Mohammed and his tribal religion from being told.

I am reading the Quran right now and it is chilling. If you like the Old Testament (on which much of it is based) you'll love the vengeful god of the Quran.

I have been having a friendly debate about the tenets of Islam over the internet with a university (female) student in Jordan and her parroted responses (almost verbatim to others I have had similar discussions with) are more than troubling. Here is a woman and a university student - not some uneducated peasant from the deserts of Arabia - and when I asked her if she agreed with the practice of killing people who renounce Islam or converted to another religion she said "Of course! People shouldn't be allowed to change their religion" (except, she clarified later, those who convert to Islam).

When I asked her about Muslims here in Europe demanding that Islam be taught in the public schools, if she thought that was a tolerant and fair thing, she said "Of course, everyone must be given the opportunity of learning about Islam and converting to the one true religion!" When I asked her if she would support this same freedom of Christianity, Judaism, Buddahism etc. being taught in public schools in Muslim countries she said "Of course not!" False religion should not be allowed to confuse Muslim children - never mind those non-Muslims who are "permitted" to continue to worship differently (though not allowed to build new houses of worship).

Mohammed was a warlord who dyed his hair, painted his eyes, perfumed his body (just like the Taliban today), and led his band of followers in robbing passing caravans and in slaughtering hundreds of people who refused to accept him as god's mouthpiece (he helped in the hacking to death of 600 Jewish men in Medina and the selling off of their wives and children into slavery when they refused his demand for them to convert to his new religion). After his death his followers raided Persia and gave the people the choice of conversion to Islam or paying a high tax, and the Persians (believers in Zarathustra's "Good Religion"/Zoroastrianism) refused both choices and 100,000 were slaughtered and the rest forced to "accept" Islam. Islamic crusaders then spread this Arab tribal religion all across the Middle East and up even into southern France and Hungary burning churches and trying to "convert" everyone to Islam, that "peaceful and tolerant" religion. It has never been a peaceful or tolerant religion and, I believe, it is the greatest threat to freedom and democracy in this world.

Read the Quran. It is online (www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/quran/ is a good source with critical points on contradictions etc.) and study factual history of Islam - not the BS you'll find being spouted on all the Islamic missionary websites. I read a great history of Mohammed and Islam by Will Durant in "The Age of Faith", one volume in his 10 volume acclaimed "History of Civilization". Spread the knowledge of this "faith". This is an imperial religion, it is not a religion of "turning the other cheek" or "loving your enemy": quite the opposite.
